Jill Renee Maxfield Lawson, 46, of Jonesboro, died Monday, January 17, 2011, at her home of natural causes.
Jill was born in Jonesboro and lived much of her life here. She was vice president of operations for Heritage Bank and was baptized in the Church of Christ. She was a 1982 graduate of Jonesboro High School and was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Maxfield.
Survivors include her daughter, Mandi Lawson of Jonesboro; Mandi’s father and Jill’s former husband of 25 years, Greg Lawson of Jonesboro;
Jill’s parents, Ruth and Jim Bratten of Jonesboro; her sister and brother-in-law: Jan and Rick Roberts of Bono; her brother and sister-in-law: Jeff and Evie Maxfield of Roseville, California;
Her uncle, Clovis Swinney of Jonesboro; 3 nieces, Shea and Jenifer Roberts and Katie Smith, 4 nephews, Richard and Amber Puckett, Jeremy Puckett, Skyler Smith and Conner Moore; a great niece, Maddie Puckett, great nephew, Cole Puckett, and 4 cousins, Allyson Reed, Heath Swinney, Steve Maxfield and Greg Maxfield.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 in Emerson Memorial Chapel with John Mark Wilson and Stan Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers include Louis Schaff, Kevin Foust, Todd Emison, Richard Puckett, Jeremy Puckett and Clovis Swinney.
Honorary pallbearers include the staff and management of Heritage Bank.
Visitation will be held Wednesday evening, 5-8, at Emerson Funeral Home.
