Jill Woodruff Maddox, 70, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, formerly of Olive Branch, Mississippi passed away Saturday, November 2, 2024 at her home surrounded by family. She was born June 22, 1954 in Croswell, Michigan to the late Harold and Thelma Woodruff. Jill retired from the United States Postal Inspection Service. She was a member of the Rock of NEA. Jill enjoyed singing, crafts, crocheting and gardening. Jill was also an avid Tennessee Volunteers fan. Most of all she loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Jill was preceded in death by a sister, Traude Woodruff.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Gary Maddox of the home; son, Joshua (Andrea) Maddox of Decatur, Alabama; daughter, Kayla (Danny) Mayfield of Jonesboro, Arkansas; sister, Patricia Gunter of Salem, Illinois; 3 grandchildren: Taylor Maddox of Decatur, Alabama, Maddox Mayfield of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Levi Maddox of Decatur, Alabama and a nephew, Joel (Marsha) Gunter and his family from Salem, Illinois.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Abundant Grace Ministries, 9239 E. Holmes Road, Collierville, Tennessee with Pastor Terry Watson officiating.
