Jewell Turley

Mrs. Jewell Turley, 85, of Jonesboro, died Sunday at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born near McCrory, Jewell lived much of her life in the McCrory area before moving to Jonesboro two years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Turley, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Survivors include:
2 Sons: Jimmy Turley of McCrory, and Rickey Turley of Wynne;

1 Daughter: Donna Eaton of Jonesboro;

5 Grandchildren: Sherri Douglas, Kitty Seaton, Stephen Eaton, Belinda Hopkins and Shane Turley; and

4 Great Grandchildren: Wyatt Eaton, Holly Eaton, Tonya Seaton and Joey Seaton.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2008, at 2:00 at Emerson Memorial Chapel in Jonesboro with Craig Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery.

Pallbearers include: Stephen Eaton, Jeff Douglas, Wayne Carter, Dale Miller and Winston Lovelace.

Visitation will be held Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 until service time in Emerson Chapel.
