Jewell E. Gagliano

Jewell E. Gagliano, 89, of Brookland, Arkansas died Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at St. Bernard's Medical Center. She had lived in Brookland since 1984, moving there from Las Vegas, Nevada. She was a member of the Brookland Church of Christ and enjoyed gardening and attending the Senior Citizen Dances. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny L. Gagliano Sr., and two brothers.

Jewell is survived by one son, John L. Gagliano Jr., Jonesboro; one sister, Vernice Whitehead, White Cliff, Florida; two grandchildren, Tammy Gagliano Guthrie, Brookland; Johnny L. Gagliano III, Sacramento, California; five great grandchildren, Natalie Jean, Miranda Raanes-Gagliano, Garrett Cook, Rayne Gagliano,and Jaden Gagliano.

Graveside services will be 4:00 Thurday, July 16, 2009 at Pine Log Cemetery with Brother Don Winfrey officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers are Raymond Guthrie, Joel Sharp, Ronnie Hancock, Tim Ray, Glen Nix, and Dennis Jones. Visitation will be from 1 – 3, Thursday, July 16, 2009 at Emerson Funeral Home.
