Jewel Spencer

Ellis “Jewel” Spencer, 81, passed from this life on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born to the late Alleyne and Jessie Spencer on August 1, 1941 in Harrisburg. Jewel loved to be outside, he enjoyed fishing, gardening and teaching his grandchildren how to whittle wood. Jewel loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Jewel is preceded in death by his brothers, Johnny Spencer and S.M. Spencer.

Jewel is survived by his wife of 62 years, Patsy Spencer of the home; son, Jerry Spencer (Debbie) of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Ashlee Ladyman (Jeff) and Alecia Sparrow; great grandchildren, Colton Sparrow, Addison Sparrow, Brett Ladyman, and Jaxon Ladyman.
