Jesse Wayne Williams, 40, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022 in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was much loved by all who met him, had a robust sense of humor and was the person who made every situation more fun.
Jesse was born on September 20,1982 in Heber Springs, Arkansas to Barbara Williams of Jonesboro and the late Vic Williams. He attended Bartlett High School in Bartlett, Tennessee and worked as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer. He made his home in Charlotte, North Carolina for the last nine years and created amazing memories with wonderful friends.
Jesse loved his snow globe collection that was comprised of his travel memories and souvenirs from family and friends. He grew up fishing and shooting and maintained his love for those activities throughout his life. His French Bulldog, Mayonnaise was always called "the baby" and she was his everything.
Of course, his first love was music and playing the drums. He had a Grateful Dead cover band in Charlotte called Bobby's Jorts. He listened to several podcasts and Howard Stern. He loved The Golden Girls sitcom and had a few Golden Girls shirts that he wore frequently. He also enjoyed watching Seinfeld, The Wonder Years and WW2 documentaries. Jesse never met a stranger.
Jesse is survived by his girlfriend, Catherine Roulett and their sweet dog, Mayonnaise. He is also survived by his two sisters Amy Stewart (Kelly) of Searcy, Arkansas, Alissa Harris (Michael) of Jensen Beach, Florida, his two brothers Timothy Robinson (Connie) of Germantown, Tennessee and Donnie Williams (Missy) of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas, seven nephews Jeremiah Stewart, Alec Robinson, Grant Harris, Kagen Harris and Drake Harris, four nieces Maggie Watson (Shawn), Arlann Erskine (Ryan), Kelssi Williams and Kylie Williams and a great niece Lilly Watson and a great nephew Everett Erskine.
Jesse was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Margaret and Clarence Choate Jr, his paternal grandparents Pauline and Jack Williams and his brother David Williams.
Visitation will be from 1-2p.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Emerson Funeral Home with funeral services following at 2 p.m. with pastor Shawn Watson officiating.
