Jerry Edward Williams

Jerry Edward Williams, 55, of Bono departed this life and entered into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro surrounded by his family. He was born July 7, 1969 in Jonesboro to Dale Edward Williams and Peggy A. Williams.

Jerry was a life long resident of the Jonesboro and Bono areas and was a graduate of Nettleton High School, class of 1987. He enjoyed music, going to concerts and his dogs Bella, Stevey and Mic. But his greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandkids and going to their ball games. Jerry was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Jerry is preceded in death by his father, Dale Edward Williams as well as his paternal grandparents and maternal grandparents.

Survivors include his sons, Dustin (Mary) Williams and Zach (Cydni) Williams; his mother, Peggy Williams; brother, Dale Williams; sisters, Sandra (Danny) Threadgill and Phyllis Davis; grandchildren, Bailey, Audrey, Ross and Myles; his companion, Kelly Whitlow as well as several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

A visitation will be held Tuesday August 13th, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home.

The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Clint Burns officiating. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation to either the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis.
