Jerry Victor Sanders

Jerry V. Sanders, 39, of Jonesboro died Sunday December 18, 2011, at St Bernards Medical Center.

Jerry was born January 24, 1972 in Piggott to James and Mary Sanders. He has lived most of his life in Northeast Arkansas. He lived a short time in Arizona before moving back to Piggott. He and his wife, MyLinda moved to Jonesboro over eight years ago. He had a true passion for life, and those knowing him said, “He had never met a stranger. He was a loving dad, husband, and son. He worked for Carrier, and was a HVACR Technician. He loved to tinker with anything mechanical, and loved teaching his children. If Jerry ever seen anyone broke down on the side of the road he would always stop to see if he could help. He was one of a kind and will never be forgotten.

Survivors include his wife, MyLinda of the home, two sons, Justin Sanders and Dakota Becker of the home; five daughters, Kassondra Sanders of Conway, Malissa Pirtle and Stephanie Pirtle of Jonesboro, Shandi Pirtle of Illinois, and Cheyenne Becker of the home; parents, James and Mary Sanders of Piggott; one brother Eugene Sanders of Arizona; two sisters, Mary Jacqueline Chillcutt and Mary Anna di Paola both of Piggott; three grandchildren, Karter, Emmett, Delanie; and a host of other family and friends.


Funeral Service will be private.
