Jerry Don Roedel

Jerry Don "Stone" Roedel, 54, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on Thursday, April 16, 2020, at his home of natural causes.

Donnie was a native and life-long resident of Jonesboro. He worked in the automotive business, buying, detailing and selling cars all of his adult life. He was an ordained minister and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to working on cars, Donnie also enjoyed riding motorcycles and visiting with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Brooke Graham; his father, Jerry Lee Roedel; a sister, Misty Bobbitt; grandmothers Estelle Metcalf and Clara Roedel; and grandfathers Buford Mitchell and Rufus Roedel.

Survivors include his mother, Nellie Bobbitt of Jonesboro;
3 sons: Jerry Don Gandy of Brookland, Gary Dewayne Hensley (Jamie) of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Allen Fannin of Winter Haven, Florida;
2 daughters: Amber Diane Roedel of Flordia, and Ashley Fannin of Winter Haven, Florida;
5 brothers: Mike Bobbitt, Brian Bobbitt, Brandon Bobbitt, Raymond Roedel and Terry Roedel, all of Jonesboro; and
14 grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be held within the next few weeks. The family will make the contacts and announce the date to their friends and extended family members.
