Jerry Paul Reddmann

August 10, 1943 — June 5, 2022

Our Savior Jesus Christ has destroyed death and brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel.  Let us remember with Thanksgiving what God has done through his servant Jerry Paul Reddmann.

Jerry Paul Reddmann was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, on August 10, 1943, to parents, Paul Reddmann and Oral Mae (Monroe) Reddmann. Jerry Paul was a farmer in Poinsett County all his life.  He started farming with his Dad at an early age and continued the family farm bringing in his sons, Keith and Kevin, and later his grandson, Logan, and pretended to retire in 2021.  He was not a big sports fan, but if one of his kids or grandkids had any softball games, basketball games or was cheering on the sidelines, he wanted to be there to support them.  He loved his family.

Jerry Paul was preceded in death by his parents, great grandson, Onyx Ledger Lewis, and son-in-law, Shane Horner.

He was united in holy marriage to Lana Bradley Reddmann on December 22, 1978, and blessed with 43 years of married life together.  On June 5, 2022, at Methodist Dallas Medical Center, Dallas, Texas, at the age of 78 years God called Jerry Paul  home.  He is survived by his wife, Lana,  sons, Keith (Paula) Reddmann, Kevin (Ronda) Reddmann, and  daughters, Kimberly Wallin Dulaney,  Phenix (Josiah) Hird, grandchildren, Jordan (Lindsey) Reddmann, Logan (Ally) Reddmann, Zachary Brown, Addi Brown, Hunter (Cale) Reddmann, Trae (DariAne) Lewis, Emma Hird, Sadie Hird,  great grandchildren, Hayden Robertson, Andi Reddmann, Willie Reddmann, Neely Reddmann, Otto Lewis, Sister, Betty Carol (James) Cooper and Godson, Blaine (Macy) Gardner.  Jerry Paul now rests in the arms of Jesus and awaits the resurrection of the dead.

Services will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in Waldenburg, Arkansas, on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at 12:00 p.m.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to time of service.

Pallbearers are Jordan Reddmann, Logan Reddmann, Zachary Brown, Blaine Gardner, Trae Lewis, Cale Reddmann, Ronald Craft.  Honorary pallbearers are Donnie Reddmann, Ronnie Reddmann, Gary Reddmann, Josiah Hird, Todd Gardner, Lyn Bradley, Billy Teague.

Memorials can be made to Local Mpact, a nonprofit organization supporting families that have experienced the loss of a baby. The address is P.O. Box 19341, Jonesboro, Arkansas 72403.

The Lord gives and the Lord takes away, blessed be the name of the Lord.  We give thanks to God our Father through Jesus Christ, our Lord, for our Brother, Jerry Paul.
