Jerry D. Moore, 66, of Jonesboro passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011, at St Bernard’s Medical Center.
Jerry was born September 17, 1944, in Ravenden, Arkansas, and he was a retired Tool & Die Maker. He loved to travel, and love to ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He loved his family and friends, and had a special place in his heart for his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeremiah and Bernice Stratton Moore, two sisters, Katherine Shusnery and Alma Moore.
Survivors include two sons, Jeff and his wife, Dawn Moore of Jonesboro and Jeremy Moore of Jonesboro; a daughter Jennifer and her husband, Tim Brasher of Wauwatosa, WI; five grandchildren, Nathan Brasher of Wauwatosa, WI, Hannah and Gwendolyn Brasher of Atlanta, GA, Patrick Moore of Jonesboro, and Ariel Moore of Paragould; five brothers, Cloyse, Cleo, Lonny, David, and Eddie Moore all of Flint, Michigan; and a sister, Sarah Floyd of Hoxie.
Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Emerson Memorial Chapel.
Burial will be private.
Visitation will be Saturday from 6-8 at Emerson Funeral Home.
