Jerry Lynn "Bud" Story

Jerry Lynn “Bud” Story, 59, died Sunday morning at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. He was born in Jonesboro and lived here his whole life. He loved being outdoors doing yard work or tinkering with something. He loved watching many reruns on TV. He was of the Baptist belief.

Mr. Story is survived by Ruby Story, of the home; his son, Ricky Lynn Story, Amory, MS; daughter and son-in-law, Angela & Anthony Lamagna, Ft. Walton Beach, FL; his brother and sister-in-law, Jack & Myra Story, Jonesboro; grandchildren, Kailey Rodie, Kagen Lamagna, Dustin Story, Amber Story; great grandchildren, Xander Story, Alana Story; several nieces, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Albert & Mary Lucille Finley Story.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Pine Log Cemetery with Brother Phillip Brown officiating. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Dean Hall, Leroy Mabe, Bill Heath, Harvey Thomas, Mike Ginger, and Bill Crain.

Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
