Jerry Lee Alberson, Sr., 61, of Jonesboro, died Wednesday at St. Bernards Medical Center. He had lived in Jonesboro since 1992, moving here from California. He was licensed to preach through Full Gospel, loved to deer hunt, and fish. He loved spending time with his family, taking the kids on outings to Disneyland and Six Flags.
He is survived by his wife, Dolly Alberson of the home; his children, Jerry Lee Alberson, Jr., Horseshoe Bend, Kristi Ann Alberson, Horseshoe Bend, Kelly Lynn Alberson, Misty Gail McDole, both of Jonesboro; his brother and sisters, Randy Anderson, Horseshoe Bend, Linda Dunlap, Evening Shade, Brenda Hill, Trumann, Carolyn O’Neal, Porterville, California; and 19 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene & Mary Anderson, a son, Gary Eugene Alberson, a granddaughter, Britany Dawn Alberson, and a brother, Larry Alberson.
A graveside service will be held on Monday at 3:00 p.m. at Herman Cemetery with Darrell Miller officiating. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be Monday afternoon from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
