Jerry Langston

Jerry Langston, 56, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Monday, August 7, 2017. He was born to Charles and Dorothy Langston in Jonesboro on October 10, 1960. Jerry and his wife, Deborah, attended Christian Valley Christian Church and he was of the Baptist belief. He retired from Wal-Mart in Jonesboro after working for them for 43 years. Jerry enjoyed fishing, Arkansas Razorbacks, St. Louis Cardinals, and watching his favorite TV show, Walker Texas Ranger. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Dorothy Langston; grandmother, Rosie Leonard; and aunts, Brenda Johnson and Linda Leonard.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 37 years, Deborah Langston of Jonesboro; son, Jerry David Langston II of Jonesboro; daughters, Sherry Mothershed (Jason) of Jonesboro and Stacy Pearson (Jason) of Paragould; brothers, Jonny MacIntosh and Carl Pearson; sister, Rose MacIntosh; grandchildren, Jade Mothershed, Jasmine Mothershed, Jennica Mothershed, and JamieLynne Mothershed.

The visitation will be held from 9 am to 10 am prior to the service on Friday.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, August 11, 2017 at Emerson Funeral Home with Scott Perkins officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery.
