Jerry L. Rook

Jerry L. Rook, 39, of rural Jonesboro, died Saturday evening at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.

Born in Little Rock, Jerry lived in Stuttgart before moving to Jonesboro in 1988. He was a 1990 graduate of Brookland High School and worked several years for Lowe’s Home Improvement Stores. Jerry enjoyed golf and fishing.

Survivors include his son, Rhett Rook of Jonesboro;
His father and step mother, Jerry G. and Paula Rook of Jonesboro;
His mother and step father, Vickie and Leonard Nichols of Elkins;
His grandparents, Clarence and LaVonne Dice of Greers Ferry;
3 brothers, Barry Rook of White Hall, David Rook of Rogers and Heath Minnis of Bono; and 2 sisters, Dana Jones of Egypt and Tina Rook of Rogers.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10:00 in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Ken Stallings officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Kevin Rook, Michael Morrison, Jason Rook, Paul Stallings, Dick Rook and Ted Rook.

Visitation will be held Monday evening, 5-7, at Emerson Funeral Home.
