Jerry Kelly Moore, 68, of Harbor City, California, died November 20, 2007 at his residence.
He was born in Lake City, Arkansas and lived in Harbor City, California for forty years, moving there from Brookland, Arkansas. He was a retired Iron worker for Local # 416 in Los Angeles, California, was in the Brookland High School class of 1958, and of the Protestant belief.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Moore and Nina Hawes Moore, and one brother.
Survived by his daughter; Kelly Moore of Torrance, California.
Two brothers; Norman Moore of Brookland, Arkansas and Freeman Moore of Riverside, California.
Two sisters; Nola Houston of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Connie Smith of Nesbit, Mississippi.
One grandson.
Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday December 8, 2007 at Pine Log Cemetery, with Dr. Winfred Bridges officiating. Burial will be at Pine Log Cemetery, with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge
Visitation will be from 12-1:00 P.M. Saturday December 8, 2007 at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
Active pallbearers will be Jason Moore, Bob Smith, Mike Smith, Jim Dooley, W.T. Gatlin, Ike Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Smith, Noel Smith, Charles Weathers, Paul Guest, Charles Johnston, Wayne Davenport, Gobel Hawes, and Brookland class of 1958.
