Jerry Ernest Johnston

Jerry Ernest Johnston 66, of Brookland, died Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at his home. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Johnston and brother, Gene Johnston.

Jerry was born in Jonesboro, AR and spent most of his life in Brookland. He was a master brewer and took pride in being a member of the Teamsters.

Survivors include mother, Nellie Johnston of Brookland; daughters and sons-in law, Lela and Brian Duhon of Jonesboro; Stacey Johnston of Nashville, TN; and Heather and Corbett Tilley of West Memphis; grandchildren, Alan, Brittany, Ross, Bryant, Dalton, and Britton; and one sister, Donna Childers of Brookland.

Emerson Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements and family requests that services be private.
