Jerry Hansen

Jerry Hansen, 68, of Jonesboro passed from this life on September 26, 2014 at his residence. He was born on September 29, 1945 to the late Deon and Georgia Hansen in Jonesboro. Jerry loved farming, working in his shop, and was very active at Oak Grove Baptist Church. He would help anyone in need and enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, and fishing. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents; Deon and Georgia Hansen and brother; Glen Hansen.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 6 years; Kaye Hansen.

Daughter; Deanna and Roger Hudson and their children, Jason and Nick.

Daughter; Dione and Bryce Goad.

Brother; Jimmy Hansen.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 29, 2014 at Gibson Cemetery in Jonesboro with Wyndell King officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The Active Pallbearers will be the Adult Sunday School Class of Oak Grove Baptist Church. The Honorary Pallbearers will be Roger Blankenship, Dwight Tosh, Jesse Hanks, Bill Clark, and Jerry Tubbs.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Emerson Funeral Home.
