Jerry B. Hall, 72, of Paragould, passed away on Saturday at his residence surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Paragould, Jerry lived most of his life in Brookland before moving to Paragould three years ago. He worked most of his adult life in the automobile industry, buying, selling and building cars.
Jerry was also a professional wrestler for several years, working throughout the mid-south and mid-west. His ring names were "J.R. Alzado" and "Gorgeous J.R." and he was a 2018 inductee into the MACW Hall of Fame.
Jerry was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Paragould and was a co-founder of the Crowley's Ridge Cruisers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennett Hall, and Harrison and Rachel Lawrence Wise.
Survivors include:
2 sons and their wives: Devin and Amanda Barker of Jonesboro, and Stoney and Terrie Hall of Brookland;
2 daughters: Shannon Hall of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, and Angela Davis of Lake City;
8 grandchildren: Rachel Sims Barker, Madison Hall, Leah Atkins, Hunter Feliciano,
Mianda Trujillo, Jennifer Stanford, Joshua Davis and Jordan Lawrence; and a host of great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday in Emerson Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Emerson Chapel. Burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Howard Dicus, Winfred Parker, Fred Shannon, Jerry Strope, Jerry Allison, James Brewington, Doye Bayird, Bobby Austin, Doug Cousins, Maurice Hamilton, Jerry Berryhill, Ed Chunn and other life-long and special friends.
