Jerry Thomas Dillin

Jerry Dillin, 81, of Jonesboro passed from this life Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Woodbriar Nursing Home in Harrisburg, Arkansas. Jerry was born May 12, 1942 to the late Jake Dillin and Neva Sue Battles in Monette, Arkansas. He was a former United States Marine and was in the insurance business in Jonesboro for nearly 50 years.

Jerry loved to play golf, and various sports throughout his entire life. He was a devoted Christian, father, husband, son, and grandfather.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by; his wife, Connie Jane Dillin, and daughter Sherry Sue Dillin.

Survivors include; one son, John Dillin (Anna Lissa) of Jonesboro; one daughter, Margaret Dillin of Pocahontas; three grandchildren, Jordyn, Lauryn, Corbyn Dillin all of Jonesboro.

Visitation will be Monday, October 9, 2023, at Emerson Memorial Chapel starting at 1:30 p.m., services will follow at 2:30 p.m. with Bro. Bryce King officiating. Burial will be at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery. Active pallbearers include; Brandon Atkinson, Justin Atkinson, Jeff Mead, Jessie Sutton, Terry Poole, Rod Jordan, and Randy Johnson. Honorary pallbearers include; Robert Baxter, Mark Baxter, Kevin Baxter, Wes Baxter, and Scott Baxter.
