Jerry Curtner

Jerry Husten Curtner, 78, a long time resident of Jonesboro went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 22 at St. Bernards Hospital. Jerry was a member of The Assembly of God church and attended Friendship Assembly for many years and later in life attended Stone Street Assembly.

After working a short time with Cotton Belt Railroad, Jerry entered into the car sales business from the mid 1970’s until illness forced retirement in 2014. In Jerry’s free time he enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael, parents, four brothers, and five sisters.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 43 years, Barbara Curtner; son, Larry Lipsey; daughters, Lisa Yarborough, Lynne Harrington, and Susan Burns; sister, Fayon Lunsford; Jerry also leaves behind nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Emerson Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Sanders officiating.
