Jeri Kay Johnson

Jeri Kay Johnson, 65, of Jonesboro passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023 at NEA Baptist Hospital. She was born February 8, 1957 in Dearborn, Michigan to the late Melvin and Jeanette Brown. Jeri worked several years at Jimco and considered many of the ladies there extended family. She enjoyed traveling, casinos, cruises and spending time with family including shopping with her grandson Hunter.

In addition to her parents, Jeri was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Greig and brother, Don Brown.

Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Michael Johnson of the home; daughter, Heather Johnson of Paragould; step-daughter, Amber Galland of Brookland; 3 brothers, Melvin (Becky) Brown Jr. of Conroe, Texas, Jim (Jamie) Brown of Nashville, Tennessee, Sid (Sandy) Brown of Jonesboro; sister, Erma Lou (Carlton) Ashley of Southaven, Mississippi and 5 grandchildren: Gracy Johnson of Brookland, Hunter Johnson of Paragould, Cash Johnson of Brookland, Colt Galland of Brookland and Codi Rothenberger of Brookland.

Graveside service will be Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Oaklawn Cemetery with Bro. Jeff Watson officiating.
