Jere A Mooney

Jere A. Mooney, 74, of Jonesboro, died Saturday at his home. He had lived in Jonesboro since 2007, moving here from Richmond, Missouri. Jere was a member of Cathedral Baptist Church. He served his country in the US Navy. He retired from Yellow Freight. Jere was preceded in death by his wife, Cindy Mooney; his parents, one brother and one sister.

Survivors include one son, Jerry Moore (Faezeh) of Florida; daughters, Lori Sawmiller (Larry); Patricia Schreier )Eddie); and Debra Mooney all of Jonesboro; brothers, Donald Mooney of Independence, Missouri; Thomas Mooney of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be from 3:00 until 5:00 Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at Cathedral Baptist Church with Doug Welborn officiating.
