Our dear mother, Jenia Wells sadly passed away on December 18, 2022 at the age of 72. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. She also had many friends and was a well-loved member of the East Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Jenia was an administrative assistant at Frito-Lay in Jonesboro, Arkansas from which she retired. She enjoyed nature, spending time with her family and friends, traveling, fishing, flea-marketing, dancing, singing, sewing, cooking, playing games, keepingher yard and flower garden pretty, and doing for others.
Jenia is survived by her husband, Michael “Ricky” Wells; brothers, Ray Cameron and Charles Cameron; daughters, Darla Clampit, Laura Burrow, and Paula Clampit; grandchildren, Eric Clampit, Kevin Rodriguez, Hunter Bise, Lee Clampit, Chase Clampit, Luke Clampit, Madison Clampit, Caroline Burrow, Codie Fisher, and Sarah Heverling; five great grandchildren and countless other relatives.
She is preceded in death by her parents Becky and Carl Cameron; brother, Pete Cameron; and her son, Jerry Clampit Sr.
The visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, December 26, 2022 at Emerson Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at The Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah’s Witnesses in Jonesboro. Burial will follow at Vandale Cemetery with the active pallbearers being Dewayne Cameron, Dennis Cameron, Bill Cameron, Lee Clampit, and David Reeves. The honorary pallbearers will be Larry Clampit, Aaron Wood, Dudley Owens, and Byron Mitleff.
