Jeffry Wayne Davis, “Big Red” 34, of Paragould, passed away Tuesday February 19, 2008 at St. Bernards Medical Center.
He was born in Jonesboro, was a 1991 graduate of Nettleton High School and lived in Paragould since 2003.
He was a truck driver for Star Transportation for five years and a member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church, where he was a member of the choir, member of the Master’s Men, was a teacher for the Children’s Church, and the game leader in the AWANA program. He loved to sing praises to God.
Preceded in death by his maternal grandfather; Leland Stutts, Paternal grandfathers; Leland Davis and Jim Moulder.
Survived by his loving wife of ten and half years; Tonya Davis of the home.
Two sons; William Shane Mullins and Jerry (Jay) Mullins both of the home.
One daughter; Brittney LeAnn Holden of the home.
Father; Leslie W. Davis of Jonesboro. Step Mother; Donna Davis of Bono.
Mother; Linda Ingram and her husband Gordon of Searcy.
One brother; Jason Davis of Jonesboro. One step brother; Billy Ingram of Brighton, Tennessee.
Three step sisters; Betty Brannon and her husband Bobby of Augusta, Mona Hodson and her husband Dan of Alexander. Meridith Treadway and her husband Chris of Jonesboro.
Two Grandmothers; Dean Stutts of West Memphis and Willene Moulder of Jonesboro.
God Parents; Eddie and Jearldene Coughlin of Jonesboro. Nine Nieces and Thirteen Nephews.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday February 23, 2008 at Faith Free Will Baptist Church, 1008 Highland Dr. Jonesboro, with Reverend’s Kenneth Winningham and Marty Russell officiating. Burial will be at Pine Log Cemetery, with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until service time at Faith Free Will Baptist Church.
Active pallbearers will be Jarred and Jeremy Kersey, Roger Leder, Bryce Burdyshaw, David Myrsten and Frank Shelton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Bova, Preston Bova, Mike Bova, James Crow, Darrell Crow, Star Transportation and Brookland R.O.T.C.
