Jeffery Scott Dowdy, 46, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Tuesday, May 15 ^th , 2018 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born in Jonesboro on October 10 ^th , 1971 to Charlene and Harold Dowdy Jr. Jefferey has lived all of his life in Jonesboro. He worked as a roofer and was a member of Bono United Pentecostal Church. He loved his family and also enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his loving wife Angela, of the home; his parents; son, Alex Dowdy of Jonesboro; daughter, Allyson Dowdy of Jonesboro; brothers, Steve (Kathy) Dowdy and Jordan (Tori) Dowdy all of Jonesboro; and sisters, Leann Dowdy and Mica Dowdy of Jonesboro.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 10-11 am in the Emerson Memorial Chapel.

Funeral Service will be at 11 am Saturday, May 19, 2018 in the Emerson Memorial Chapel with Brother Danny Murphy and Brother Bradley Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Stranger’s Home Cemetery in Alicia. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Nathan Robinson, Emmanuel Dowdy, Dillon Clements, Caleb Sandusky, Hunter Carson and Kaleb Anderson.
