Jeffery Jay Chadwick, 57, of rural Jonesboro, passed from this life on Friday, October 22, 2021, at his home of natural causes.
Born in Paragould, Jeff lived most of his life in the Jonesboro area and was a graduate of Brookland High School. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and worked most of his life as a Carpenter, building residential and commercial buildings, primarily post office buildings.
Jeff was an outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He also enjoying yardwork and maintaining an immaculate lawn. Jeff always raised a big, neat garden and kept all of his belongings, tools and items of admiration keenly painted and in tip-top shape. One of his all-time favorite pastimes was to ride his Harley-Davidson motorcycles on day-long excursions.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents: Lee and Lola Henderson Chadwick; brother Larry Chadwick; sisters Joyce Robins, Phyllis Pemberton and Wilma Chadwick; and devoted German Shepherd, "Harley."
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Chadwick of the home;
1 son and daughter-in-law: Aaron and Raeann Chadwick of Jonesboro;
2 daughters: Becky Chadwick of Jonesboro and Amanda Robins of Marmaduke;
2 brothers and sisters-in-law: Harold and Selma Chadwick of Bono, and
Phillip and Sharon Chadwick of Little Rock;
1 sister, Linda Canamore of Jonesboro; and
8 grandchildren: Landon Chadwick, Kenzli Ford, Cadence Chadwick, Teegan Chadwick, Taylor Jernigan, Caitlyn Jernigan, Preston Robins and Collin Robins.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Mike Book officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 preceding the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that consideration be given to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
