Jeff Baker

Jeffrey Scott Baker, 32, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Monday, October 4, 2021 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born to Carol Baker on October 24, 1988 in Blytheville. Jeff was an accomplished gymnast having won several competitions and events. He was an artistic individual who enjoyed creating paintings and short films (Claymation). Jeff also enjoyed gardening and maintaining his fish habitats. He worked as a cosmetologist and as a tumbling instructor. Jeff is preceded in death by his grandmother, Julia Baker; aunt, Cynthia Baker; and cousins, Cody Humble and Peyton Jeffries.

Jeff is survived by his mother, Carol Baker of Jonesboro; brother, Corey Baker (Tia) of Brookland; sister, Jessica Bryant (Dean) of Brookland; and nephews, William Owens and Killian Bryant. Jeff also leaves behind his cat, Amelia Lee, and a host of other family and friends.

The visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service on Friday morning.

The service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Emerson Funeral Home with Nick Troutman officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.
