Jeanne Rosita Monet

Jeanne Rosita Monet, 64, of Jonesboro was born on October 6, 1950 and entered into eternal rest at her residence on Monday, November 24, 2014. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her devoted cousin/sister Rosita T. Richardson, forever indebted cousins Donna Lloyd, Aaron Richardson, Melanie Richardson Knight, and Peteh Haroon, loyal Aunt Pauline G. Clifton, and loving godson David Harrison, an Aunt Zelma (Minnie) Tucker and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother Theresa G. Meyer and father Joseph Monet. Jeanne was a longtime faithful member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church and the Saint Vincent DePaul Society in New Orleans. She was also, a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas and the Jonesboro Public Library Adult Reading Club.


Family, friends and employees of the State of Louisiana Rehabilitation Department are invited to attend a visitation and service on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Corpus Christ/Epiphany Catholic Church 2022 St. Bernard Avenue visitation at 8:00 am – 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Father David Begany officiating, Interment at Mt Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of a repast a donation will be made to the Saint Vincent DePaul Society Pharmacy in New Orleans.
