Jean McBride, 76, of Bono, died on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at her home. She was born in the Nettleton Community on September 9, 1945, to Wayne and Opal McGill. She moved from the Jonesboro area to Bono in 1983. She was of the Christian belief. Jean worked until retirement at Hytrol Conveyor Company. Her many hobbies including watching her soap-operas, and Andy Griffith. On weekends she enjoyed going to flea markets. Many friends will attest to the fact, that Jean had a great sense of humor, and was proud to pull jokes and pranks on her friends and family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jessie; and four sisters, Ruby, Louise, Evelyn and Naomi.
Survivors include her son, Gary McBride and wife, Kathy from Bakersfield, Missouri; daughters, Tammy McBride of Bono; Vickie Christian and Richard of Shelbyville, Tennessee; grandchild, Kayla; great grandchildren, Hayden and Bently; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
