Jean Hawkins

Jean Hawkins, 77 of Jonesboro, died Monday April 8, 2013 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.

She had lived in Pine Bluff before moving to Jonesboro in 1974 and was a member of the South Caraway Baptist Church.

Mrs. Hawkins is preceded in death by her husband William Sellie “Bill” Hawkins,Sr. ; a son William Sellie Hawkins, Jr.; and parents William and Annie King.

Jean is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Corrine and John H. Bell of Pine Bluff; daughter-in-law Donna Hawkins of Batesville; 3 grandchildren John Bell, Bree Burruss and Amber Russell; 5 great grandchildren Jackson Bell, Lexi Bell, Lauren Burruss, Emma Burruss and Wes Burruss.

Funeral services will be Friday April 12, 2013 at 2:00 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Mitch Ford officiating. Burial will follow at Nettleton Cemetery.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Rodney Vaughn, Rusty McGaha, Wesley Burruss, Justin Russell, John H. Bell, and John W. Bell.

Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 until service time at Emerson Memorial Chapel.
