Jean Byrd Grisham

Jean Byrd Grisham, 72, of Jonesboro, passed from this life Saturday, February 5, 2022 at NEA Baptist Hospital. She was born May 26, 1949 in Jonesboro to the late Roy and Joyce Byrd.

Jean has lived in Jonesboro most of her life and was a member of the Bay Church of Christ. She loved spending time with her family. Jean was also was a big sports fan and enjoyed watching her grandkids play sports.

In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by a brother, Buddy Byrd; brothers-in-law, Tommy Lamberson, Darrell Austin, and Jack Williamson as well as a sister-in-law, Rosemary Grisham.

Survivors include her husband, Howard Grisham of the home; son, Jerrod Grisham of Paragould; daughter, Alicia (Bill) Ballard of Jonesboro; brothers, David (Tina) Byrd of Jonesboro and Matt (Tabatha) Byrd of Pocahontas; sisters, Laquida Williamson of Batesville and Jane Lamberson of Jonesboro; grandchildren, William (Bailey) Ballard of Brookland, David Ballard of Jonesboro, Jackson Ballard of Jonesboro and Samuel Grisham of Paragould.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 12-1 pm at Emerson Funeral Home.

A graveside service will immediately follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Theron Isaacs officiating. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include William Ballard, David Ballard, Jackson Ballard, Samuel Grisham, Forrest Grisham, Blake Lamberson and Brett Lamberson.
