Jaylene Parker Bullock

Jaylene Parker Bullock, 61, of Jonesboro, died Friday, August 17, 2012, at St. Bernards Medical Center.

Born in Memphis, Jaylene lived in Dundee, Mississippi, for two years before moving to Marked Tree where she lived much of her life before moving to Jonesboro in 1989. She was a 1969 graduate of Marked Tree High School and was a member of First Baptist Church while living there.

Jaylene was assistant director of Mother Goose Daycare and Learning Center in Jonesboro for several years and later was a full time homemaker. She was preceded in death by her father, Jay Louis Parker, Sr. and by her mother, Margaret Capooth Parker Arwood.

Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Carl Bullock, married October 21, 1982;
1 son, Matthew Tyler Bullock of the home;
1 daughter, Jordan Leann Bullock of the home;
1 brother, Jay Louis Parker, Jr. of Conway; and
2 sisters: Margaret Ann Parker and Cindy Parker Roe, both of Jonesboro.

A funeral service will be held Sunday afternoon at 5:00 in Emerson Memorial Chapel. Burial will be private.

Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon from 3:00-5:00 in Emerson Chapel.
