Jay Hickey

Jay Hickey, 89, of Bay passed from this life Saturday, April 28, 2018 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital surrounded by family. He was born November 26, 1928 in Joiner to the late William and Bessie Hickey. Jay was a Korean War Veteran.

In addition to his parents Jay was preceded in death by his grandparents who raised him, Finnie and Jessie Mae Holt; wife, Marie Hickey; son, Michael J. Hickey and brother, Robert L. Hickey.

Survivors include his sons, Wayne Hickey of Trumann, Steve (Vickie) Hickey of Bay; daughter, Patti Smith of Bay; brother, Tommy Cooper of Marvel; 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel with John Dillinger officiating. Burial will follow in Nettleton Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 a.m. prior to the service.
