Janyce Sue Wiseman, 75, of Jonesboro surrendered her life on this earth to enter her Heavenly home on Wednesday, December 24, 2025. She was born on January 5, 1950 to Roy and Dorothea Hagan. Janyce lived her life in Missouri until she married the love of her life on June 15, 1970.
After marrying the love of her life Bennie Harold Wiseman, they moved to Arkansas where she lived out her life.
Janyce was a homemaker; she worked as a teachers aide at North Elementary School in the 70s and early 80s until she obtained her CNA license. She worked in the medical field until she was no longer able to perform her job duties. Janyce was a member of Prospect Missionary Baptist and loved attending when able. She loved spending time with her family, spoiling her grandkids, going to yard sales and auctions.
Janyce is survived by her husband of 55 years, Bennie Harold Wiseman; three children, Danny (Amy) Wiseman of Wynne, Roy (Tracy) Wiseman of Brookland, Sharon (Mike) Coffel of Paragould; nine grandchildren: Ryan (Ashley) Wiseman of Paragould, Samantha (Forrest) Pulley of Conway, Breanna (Zach) Moon of Jonesboro, Audrey Wiseman of Wynne, Nathaniel (Chareigan) Conway, Brody Pickering, Grant Coffel, Savannah Coffel, Alyssa Coffel all of Paragould; one great grandchild, Leo Moon of Jonesboro; One soon to be great grandson, Knox Conway of Paragould; three brothers, Roy Hagan, Ralph (Jeannie) Hagan, Rich (Linda) Hagan, two sisters, Dorothy Kennedy, and Judy Leonard all of Missouri and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Dorothea Hagan and two brothers, David and Charles Hagan all of Missouri.
Funeral service will be Monday, December 29, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Mike Book officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery with active pallbearers being Nathaniel Conway, Brody Pickering, Frank Wiseman, James Leonard, Mike Leonard and Bob Boucherie.
James Burris and Grant Coffel will serve as special pallbearers and all of her grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 a.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel prior to the service.
Janyce will be greatly and deeply missed by her friends and family, but have comfort and peace knowing that she is wrapped in the arms of Jesus in her Heavenly home living pain free and rejoicing with her dear loved ones.
