Rebecca “Janie” Williamson, age 44 died at her residence Thursday morning. Born in Morse, Illinois, she lived in Jonesboro for the past 4 years coming from Blytheville. Janie worked at Nucor-Yamato Steel as a maintenance planner. She loved shopping, cooking, decorating, and listening to Kid Rock. Janie was an avid fan of the actress Lucille Ball. She enjoyed planning parties and enjoyed helping other people. Janie loved hanging out with her granddaughter.
Janie was preceded in death by her grandparents and her father, Virgil Gosha. Survivors include her husband, Mark Williamson, of the home; son, Bart (Kaley) Likes of Conway; daughter, Holly Black (Jacob Cole) of Blytheville and granddaughter Chloe; mother, Karen Gosha; and Lilly, her beloved dachshund.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 14, 2013 from 1-3 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with service starting at 3. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.
Palllbearers include Jim Byrd, Eric Miles, Dallas Jarred, Flash, Jake Cole, Gary Rabey.
