Janice Gale Walker

Janice Walker, 75, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday May 21, 2024. She was a servant of Trinity/Awaken church of Jonesboro. Janice was born March 2, 1949 In Poplar Bluff, Mo., the daughter of Ralph and Beulah Lafferty Hilborn.

She graduated from Ritenour high school in St. Louis County, and married Dale Walker in 1966. Janice and Dale moved to Jonesboro and made it their home. They owned and operated their own businesses, Walkers parking lot sweeping service and Walker rentals.

Loving survivors include two sons, Rodney Walker of Jonesboro and Steven (Tiffany) Walker of Knoxville, Tennessee; two grandsons, Matthew and Luke Walker of Knoxville; and two great-nieces, Gina Radke and Tina (Daniel) Scott of Rockford, IL.

Janice was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister Sandra Blunt; a brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy (Bonnie) Walker; and one niece, Sherry Radke.

A public graveside service will be held at Gum cemetery, Hwy. B, near Naylor, Missouri. Friday, May 24 at 11:00 AM. Memorials may be given to Rodney Walker Ministries, 1221 Dana Street, Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401. Janice will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
