Janet Lorene Hall

Janet Pierce Hall, 58, of Jonesboro, died Thursday, June 25, 2009, at her home of natural causes.

Born in Jonesboro, Janet lived in Detroit before moving back to Jonesboro in 1966. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her father, Richard Pierce, and a sister, Wilma Joyce Pierce.

Survivors include her husband: Sammy Hall of the home;

Her mother: Martha Garrison of Jonesboro;

2 sons: Jim Goad and David Goad, both of Jonesboro;
2 step sons: Tommy Hall of Jonesboro and David Hall of Charleston, South Carolina;

1 daughter: Stacy Deal of Jonesboro and
1 step daughter: Angela Manis of Manila;

3 sisters: Barbara Carter of Jonesboro, Linda Manis of Harrisburg and Audrey Elkins of Alpena, Michigan;

10 grandchildren, and
Her special good companion, puppy dog Lacy.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ken Jones officiating. Burial will be private.

Visitation will be held Friday evening, 5-7, at Emerson Funeral Home.
