Janet Marsh Jackson

Janet Marsh Jackson, 59, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at St. Bernard’s Regional Medical Center.  She was born on February 22, 1961 to Jan and Patsy Hughes Marsh.  She was of the Baptist belief and a greatful believer in Christ. She worked as a nurse for many years.  Her pastime was working in the flower garden, but her passion was traveling throughout the country and visiting new places.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald Marsh and Joe Marsh; and one nephew, Gerald “Buzz” Marsh.

Survivors include her brother, John Marsh of Jonesboro; sisters, Anita Allison of Jonesboro; Elizabeth “Liz” Marsh, of the home; 11nieces and nephews; 37 great nieces and nephews and 2 great great nieces and nephews; and her constant canine companion, “Little Sis”.

A memorial service will be 2:00 Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Friendly Hope Baptist Church with Bobby Barnett officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  A visitation will be from 1:00 until service time on Saturday.  Burial will be private.
