Jane Caroline Rogers Todd passed from this life on Saturday, July 25, 2015, at the age of 82. Born to Otis and Erma Rogers, she lived her entire life in Northeast Arkansas, specifically Alicia and Jonesboro. Jane married the love of her life, H.C. Todd, on March 30, 1951. They were married for 64 wonderful years.
As an elected official of Craighead County, Jane served as County Court Clerk for 10 years. She served the County Clerk’s office for a total of 27 years. She was vice president and secretary of the Craighead County Democratic Central Committee for many years. She was a member of the Arkansas Association of County Clerks, the Arkansas Federation of Democratic Women, Altrusa International, and the Altrusa Club of Jonesboro.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Patricia Jane Todd; a grandson, Kevin Lee Cook, a daughter-in-law Ginny Todd, eight brothers and one sister. She is survived by her dear husband, H.C. of Jonesboro.; son, Danny Todd and wife Jana of Mt. Home; daughter, Lana Shewmaker and husband John of Hot Springs; and daughter, Linda Cook and husband Jim of Reelfoot Lake, TN; brothers, Lilburn Rogers and Larry Rogers; sister, Muriel Rogers Taylor Smick; and special friends, Glenda Neff and Jack Presley.
Jane was lovingly known as “Grandmother” by her 5 grandchildren, Mike Todd, Rhonda DeClerk, Jennifer Horton, Kimberly Tomko and Kevin Cook. Her great grandchildren, Joseph Todd, Ross Driver, Victoria Foxwood, Reagan DeClerk, Tyson Bouscher, Lucas Todd and Quincy Tomko; and her great, great grandchildren, Kamryn Driver and Karsyn Love.

Visitation will be 12:30-2:00, Monday, July 27, at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
A celebration of Life will follow immediately afterward at Emerson Funeral Home beginning at 2:00, Monday, July 27. Burial will follow at Strangers Home Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in Charge of arrangements. Active pallbearers include: David Cupp, Mike Todd, Eric Tomko, Rick Declerk, Ross Driver, and Jim Cook. Honorary pallbearers will include: Harold Davidson, Glenda Neff, Julie Addison, Dennis Zolpher, and Jack Presley.
