Jane K. Gibson

Jane K. Gibson, 85, of Jonesboro passed from this life, Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. She was born June 29, 1930 in Maynard to the late Fred and Idell Killough. Jane has resided in Jonesboro since 1950 after coming from Biggers Reyno. She was a faithful member of Central Baptist Church who truly loved the Lord. Jane was great at cooking and housekeeping. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.
Jane was preceded in death by both of her parents.

Jane is survived by her husband, Bill Gibson, of 68 years; one son: Todd (Beth) Gibson of Florence, AL; two daughters: Panda (Randal) Spurgin of Berryville, AR and Debbie (Ross) Cardin of Hardy, AR; one brother: W.B. (Alice) Killough of St. Louis, MO; one sister: Estelle Brown of Osceola, AR; six grandchildren: Christy Duncan, Keith Cardin, Emily Nichols, Lora Hughes, Haley Gibson, and Hunter Gibson; five great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.

A visitation will be from 5-7 pm Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Emerson Funeral Home.

A service will be held 2pm Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Mike Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with active pallbearers being: Keith Cardin, Daniel Duncan, Lance Duncan, Hunter Gibson, Travis Nichols, and Cody Hughes.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the Members of the Silver Life Group at Central Baptist Church.
