Jane Alyce Highland, 53, of Jonesboro, died Thursday, January 27, 2011, at UAMS Hospital in Little Rock.
Born in Milwaukee, Jane lived in Beebe and Fayetteville before moving to Jonesboro 17 years ago. She was a receptionist for Jefferies Tax Service in Jonesboro before being diagnosed with cancer 18 months ago. Jane was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church where she taught Parish Religion Education classes.
Jane was a member of the Nettleton High School Band Boosters Club and was preceded in death by her father, Rew Winebrenner.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Highland of the home;
Her mother, Joyce Winebrenner of Cabot;
3 sons and their wives, Michael and Holly Miguet of Maumelle, Patrick and Krista Miguet of Jonesboro, and Blake Highland of the home;
3 brothers, Bobby Winebrenner of Henderson, Kentucky, Jim Winebrenner of Vilonia, and Kyle Winebrenner of Cabot; and
1 granddaughter, Payton Hooton, and 2 grandsons Keaton Miguet,and Gavin Miguet.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning, February 1, 2011, at 10:00 in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Steve Miguet officiating. Entombment will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Pallbearers include Kyle Winebrenner, Jim Winebrenner, Bobby Winebrenner, Michael Peaster and Hunter Winebrenner.
Visitation will be held Monday evening, 6-8, at Emerson Funeral Home.
