Jan Hooton

Jan Hooton, 68, of Trumann passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born September 12, 1952 in Trumann to the late Bill Boyd and Bettye Scott. Jan worked for the Trumann school district for 30 years. She loved kids and her children and their friends were always at their house and going different places. Jan was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, cooking and crafts.

In addition to her parents, Jan was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Hooton.

Survivors include her son, Justin (Haley) Hooton; daughter, Megan (Tyson Wade) Hooton and 4 grandchildren: Wyatt Stroud, Payton Hooton, Tatum Hooton and Wesley Wade.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Emerson Funeral Home.
