Jamey Felkins

Jamey Felkins, 42, of Bono, died Friday, May 18, 2012, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.

Born in Jonesboro, Jamey lived all of his life in Bono. He was a member of the Westside High School Class of 1987, and was a graduate of Arkansas State University where he earned a Bachelor degree in Agri-Business.

Jamey was a member of Bono Church of Christ and a life-long farmer. He was a member of the Bono Hunting Club and enjoying deer hunting, duck hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed attending his sons’ basketball and baseball games.

Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Mikah Cullen Felkins, married December 17, 1994;

2 sons, Cullen Felkins and Riley Felkins, both of the home;

His parents, Jimmy and Sharon Felkins of Bono;

1 brother, Joel Felkins of Bono;

1 sister, Jennifer Corbin (Jim) of Maynard;

His loving father-in-law and mother-in-law: Joel and Bonnie Cullen of Bono; and several nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 in Bono Church of Christ with Richard Akin and Kent McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow in Trinity Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Active pallbearers include Todd Statler, Todd Cullen, Devin Caples, Brian Caples, Kevan Inboden and Heath Hendrix.

Honorary pallbearers include Heath Richey, Jerald Hudspeth, Michael Butts, Mark Mills and the employees of Inboden Brothers Ag Services.

Visitation will be held Saturday evening, 5-8, at Bono Church of Christ.
