Jamesina Long

Jamesina Long, 91 of Jonesboro, passed from this life Monday night at Lexington Place.  She was born July 5, 1927.  Jamesina has lived in Jonesboro for the past 45 years, coming from Memphis.  She enjoyed going to church and gardening.  She loved her family and babysitting. She was of the Baptist faith.  Jamesina is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Charles Long, 4 sons, 1 granddaughter, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.

Survivors include: 1 brother, James (Verda) McDole of Bay; 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

A visitation will be Friday, August 10, 2018 from 10-11 AM at Emerson Memorial Chapel with service starting at 11 AM with Gary Gibson officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
