James Melvin Wren, 81, of Jonesboro passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at St. Bernard’s Hospital.
James was retired from Sherwin Williams Automotive Division in Memphis, TN after 30 years of service. He moved to Jonesboro in 1991 and he was of the Christian belief.
James is survived by his wife of 57 years; Leota Bradsher Wren; daughter: Donna (Thom) Harris of Jonesboro; Granddaughter: Brittany (Jeff) Parcel of Arlington, TX; Brother: W.A. (Melba) Wren of Bassett, AR; Nieces: Sherry (Benton) Felts of Joiner, AR, Laura Sims of West Memphis, AR, Lana (Mark) Bell of Vilonia, AR, AR; and nephews: Curt Wren of St. Clairsville, OH and Russell (Michelle) Wren, Jr. of West Memphis.
James is preceded in death by his parents: Vardie and Virginia Wren of Marked Tree; his brother: Russell O’Neal Wren Sr. of West Memphis.
The family will receive friends from 1- 2 pm on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Emerson Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be at 2 pm Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Emerson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
