James W. Wilson, Jr. 70, of Bono passed from this life Sunday, March 13, 2016 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. He was born to the late James W. and Mollie Britt Wilson September 18, 1945 in Pocahontas.
Junior has spent most of his life living in the Bono area after coming from Pocahontas where he was of the Baptist belief. Junior enjoyed hunting, fishing and just loved to have a good time. Junior was a surveyor throughout most of his career, once that job came to an end; He then started working at Riceland when he became disabled.
In addition to his parents, Junior is preceded in death by two sisters: Jimmie Burrow and Wilma Ramsey; and two brothers: Dean Gill and Neal “PeeWee” Kibby.
Junior is survived by his son: Michael Chip Wilson of Arlington, TX; two sisters: Mary Wilson and Melissa Lawrence both of Bono; four brothers: John W. Wilson (Caroline) of Jonesboro, Archie Wilson of Jonesboro, Dan Wilson of Bono, and Bruce Wilson of Bono; and several nieces and nephews.
