James Leroy Tauberschmidt, 68, of Jonesboro passed away on August 2, 2023 at Flo and Phil Hospice house. He was born on September 5, 1954 in Hoptown, Kentucky to his mother Shirley Baillargeon.
James was a truck driver at MDR Trucking, where he worked for over 10 years. Beyond his profession, he had a zest for life and a sense of humor that brightened the days of those around him. He had a playful side and was known to be quite the prankster. He was renowned for his love for the Dallas Cowboys, proudly claiming the title of their biggest fan ever. James found joy in watching movies, but most importantly spending quality time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, and his daughter, Miley Tauberschmidt.
James leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories carried by his surviving family. He is survived by his loving wife of over 30 years Linda Tauberschmidt; two sons, Shelby (Catherine) Tauberschmidt and Casey (Lindsay) Tauberschmidt; and daughter, Casey (Wayne) Hogan. He is also survived by his 2 brothers Pat and Chris Baillargeon, and his 9 grandchildren who brought immense joy and pride into his life.
