James Taylor Stallings

James Taylor Stallings, 66, of Jonesboro, passed away on March 4, 2025 at his home. James was born in Atlanta, GA on November 7, 1958 to the late Richard and Relona Garmon. In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his brother Myron Garmon.

James spent the majority of his life in Northeast Arkansas in between traveling the country. He was a traveling electrician which took him all over the United States. While off the road, James was a home body. He preferred to hunker down at home and live a simple life. James was fond of playing games, shooting guns, and chasing storms. Most importantly, he loved being with his family.

James is survived by his wife of 30 years, Linda Stallings; step-sons Cody and Brandon Prescott; daughters Candi and Nikki Stallings; brother Scott Garmon; and sister Donna.
