James Andrew Scanlon

James Andrew Scanlon, 91, of Jonesboro died Monday, February 27, 2006 at Craighead Nursing Center.

He was born in Bartlesville, OK having lived in Longview, Texas before moving to Jonesboro four years ago. He was a retired auditor for the Internal Revenue Service, and a WWII Navy Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Chote Scanlon, his parents, James and Jennie Taryin Scanlon, and one sister, Margaret Ditzen.

Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at St. Paul United Methodist Church with, Bonnie Sutton officiating.

Lasting Memorials may be made to Salvation Army or Habitat For Humanity.
